Start your day with a good breakfast, and then start their journey to catch fish in Ascension Bay one of the best places in the world. The trips are eight hours of fishing per day (except days of arrival and departure) are included in your package stay, usually 08 am to 4 pm
Plan your Fishing trips acording your wishes. You can sleep later and start your day of fishing, you can split half day of fishing, lunch and then take another session at sunset, or fishing hours from sunrise to sunset, or just an average day. Anything is possible in your fishing trip Ascension Bay, although there may be an additional fee.
Good fishing are just minutes away from the hotel; the best fishing spots are just 20-45 minutes away.
The package includes two fishermen with their personal guide in each boat, but you can have your own boat for a half or full day if desired.
All fishing in the biosphere reserve of Sian Ka'an means catch and release. Given the diversity of fishing we can go north to Boca Paila lagoon and south of the Bay of the Holy Spirit upon request.
We have 25-foot boats for fishing trips that are stable in shallow lagoons, have a wide flat area on the bow, and a platform at the back of the fish for observation. The fish easily glide through mangrove channels to calm lagoons where tarpon lurking. The boats are equipped with motors 40-60 horsepower access remote places in the bay, with comfortable seats, rod holders, equipment and refrigerators.
Fishing customize your itinerary to your wishes. We can try their luck at night fishing for tarpon and snook. We have a center console boat 26 feet wide, high arch, hardtop, stabilizers and the sound that is perfect for fishing along Palancar Reef, the second longest in the world.
Our guides are local. Living in Punta Allen, well known these waters, and has 15 years of experience guiding. Most are proud descendants of the Maya who have lived here for hundreds of years, and they speak good English. Normally, you get the same guide throughout your stay to know your level of skill and interest.

Bonefish are among the strongest and give the angler more fight, giving fishermen a great adrenaline rush and a feeling of satisfaction when they get them. They are abundant in Ascension Bay.
The bonefish in Ascension Bay are typically 2-4 lbs., Large size hard to do battle, often changing speed and direction.
Tarpon its found in the Ascension Bay all year, they are Young and between 5-30 pounds. Tarpon requires more work for guides to find, but once found are fairly easy to catch. Huge tarpon migrations up to 70 or 80 pounds are in the area. They are in the bay during the evening and summer.
Snook is a prime target for fishing, in summer prefer deep open water or mangroves; in winter they love the warm, dark waters of the canals, hidden under trees and obstacles. They naturally eat fish and shellfish; sometimes they are very aggressive. Once hooked, I snook fight so hard to keep away from obstacles and be prepared for jumps of fish
